Friday Night Live – Christmas in Downtown
December 2, 2016 from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. on Downtown Main Street
The spirit of Christmas can be found in Downtown Woodstock at Christmas on Main Street. It’s the perfect chance to Christmas shop and have some fun at the same time. Santa has already RSVp’d to attend Christmas on Main

Christmas Jubilee Parade of Lights and Christmas Tree Lighting
Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 5:30 p.m.
Kick off the holiday season with Woodstock’s traditional Christmas Jubilee Parade of Lights at 5:30pm. The parade starts at Woodstock Elementary School on Rope Mill Rd. It travels down Main Street to Sam Club’s at Hwy 92.
Bring your children after the parade to the Park at City Center to visit Santa with their wish lists. The Mayor and Santa will flip the switch to light the Park and Christmas Tree. They will announce the winners of Best Holiday, People’s Choice, and Most Original Floats. Music by Ronnie the DJ! Free moonwalk by Colby Chiropractic. Enjoy a free marshmallow roast with s’mores! Preservation Woodstock awards its Citizen of the Year! Lots of food and entertainment for all!
The Elm Street Theater will present for the community, the play, “A Christmas Carol” at 2pm. Free admission. Please bring a hearty non perishable food donation for the local food pantries. Located at 8534 Main Street.
Holiday Lights of Hope
December 8 – 23, 2016 at Hobgood Park
The Holiday Lights of Hope is a Christmas celebration benefiting the Anna Crawford Children’s Center. www.cherokeechildadvocates.org
The annual event at Hobgood Park in Woodstock, GA features a huge walk-through Christmas light display with more than 1,000,000 lights, concessions, vendors, games, bounce houses, Santa and so much more! It’s the New Christmas Tradition for kids of all ages. Click here to buy tickets.
